Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Clos de Vougeot, Petrus, Cheval Blanc, Cristal Roederer... Another great auction at Stadtbredimus!

The madness that surrounds the sales of great wines is now also materializing in Luxembourg. Flasks from the greatest estates will once again be on sale at Stadtbredimus on Sunday 28 November (2.30 pm).

Following the success of the last event, Adrien Denoyelle and his wife Charlotte are organising a new auction of exceptional wines on Sunday 28 November in their Stadtbredimus auction room. Indeed, on March 14th, 23 bottles of Domaine de la Romanée Conti (La Tâche, Richebourg, Échezeaux, Grands-Échezeaux, Romanée-Saint-Vivant...) were sold under the hammer for a total of 63 624 euros, twice the low estimate. "This sale showed us that the Luxembourgers have fine cellars and that the country has no shortage of fine wine lovers," said the auctioneer.

The most famous Burgundy house did not have the exclusive rights to the session, as there was also a 1981 Vosnes-Romanée by Henri Jayer (sold for €4,750), a lot of three 2015 Château Margaux (€3,750), a 2017 Petrus (3,125 euros), a lot of three 1999 Laffite-Rothschild (2,250 euros), a case of six 2016 Château Palmer (2,000 euros), a lot of three 1999 Laffite-Rothschilds (1,625 euros) or a magnum of 1999 Château Yquem (750 euros)... Remarkably, almost all the bottles were sold: Only 1% of the lots had not found a buyer.

On Sunday 28 November, the most prestigious labels will once again be generously represented. From Burgundy, there will be a Romanée-Conti 1985 (estimated at 10,000/15,000 euros) and a Clos de Vougeot (1,000/2,000 euros) from Domaine Leroy, as well as a La Tâche from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti 1998 (3,000/5,000 euros). On the Bordeaux side, the stars will be this lot of three 2014 Petrus in a sealed and closed wooden case (6,000/8,000 euros), this 2005 Petrus (3,000/5,000 euros), this 2014 Le Pin (2,750/4,000 euros) or these two cases of twelve 2015 Lafleur-Petrus (2003 and 2009, 2,200/2,600 euros each). Champagne will stand out, for example, with a 2002 Cristal Roederer (800/1,000 euros). More surprisingly, a bottle of Vinho Velho do Porto vinified in 1881 will also be on offer (1 200/1 400 euros)!
