This Estate of a great Luxembourg collector, Mrs. C, will present a fine selection of high-end jewelry, previously unseen Luxembourg and international works, contemporary and modern post-war paintings, as well as fine classical French furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries, and some great 20th-century designers.

Jewelry to start with, from Van Cleef & Arpels, a beautiful "Dentelle" model ring and an attractive ladies' watch in 18K (750) yellow gold set with a double line of round diamonds above the dial. A pair of "Attrape moi si tu m'aimes" clip-on earrings by the famous Chaumet fashion house and a pair of "Fil de Camélia" clip-on earrings by Chanel.

Continuing with Luxembourg artists: François Gillen, Jeannot Bewing, Sosthène Weiss, Will Lofy, Patricia Lippert, André Haagen, Mars Scmit, several mixed techniques on canvas by Robert Brandy and a unique gouache on paper by Emile Kirscht from 1947, depicting a magnificent Modigliani-style portrait.
Not forgetting Lucien Wercollier with an exceptional travertine sculpture from 1974 entitled “La protubérance”.

Let's continue with international artists with several lithographs by : Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselman, Yayoi Kusama, Roy Lichtenstein, two original paintings by Icelandic artist Erró, a set of six photographs by SCHEIDEGGER Errnst (1923-2016) for Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) in his studio for the Fondation Beyeler.
An exceptional sculpture in pâte de verre made at the Fucina degli Angeli, Murano by Max Ernst (1891-1976) & Egidio Costantini (1912-2007) - “Cat and Bird” a unique piece on the market numbered 2/3 Circa 1963 Signed by both artists in engravings on the top.
The story goes that Ernst Costantini lost his beloved cockatoo as a child, because a cat ate it (the very theme of the work). The work is numbered 2/3, but only two pieces were made, one for Ernst and the other for Constantini. The third broke during cooling, as Constantini indicated at the time. The Constantin piece is still in the artist's family, which is why the piece presented here is the only one known and available on the market.

The star of the show is the roaring 6-liter W12 engine of a magnificent brown Aston Martin cabriolet with beige leather interior, low mileage 15,500 km, year 2013.

We conclude this auction with his passion for antique furniture in lot 211, with an exceptional Louis XIV support piece Attributed to BEFORT JEUNE from the 19th century.

Mathieu Befort dit Befort Jeune (1813-1880), cabinetmaker, son of cabinetmaker Jean-Baptiste Befort (died 1840). Established at 1 and 6, rue Neuve-Saint-Gilles in Paris from 1844 to 1880. Like his elder brother Bernard, he specialized in Boulle marquetry and rosewood furniture with rich bronze decoration. His production was always characterized by high quality craftsmanship, and he became the official supplier to Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie.
