This collection, from the estate of a prominent Luxembourgish collector, Mr H., will showcase works by Luxembourgish artists, with a particular focus on Moritz NEY, a significant body of whose work will be on display, including “Le Couple”, “Les cafetières”, “Self-Portrait” and “Les chevaux sauvages”.

The event will also feature previously unseen works by international artists, notably a post-war painting by Pierre Soulages, an exceptional etching (Publisher: Galerie de France; Printer: Lacourière-Frélaut, Paris), as well as lithographs by André Marfaing, Zao Wou-ki and Hans Hartung.

High-quality classical French and Italian furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries will be on display:

- An elegant mid-Louis XV chest of drawers stamped by the master cabinetmaker Adrien FLEURY and COULON.

- A spectacular and exceptional ceremonial cabinet attributed to Ferdinando Pogliani. This masterful piece, crafted from ebony and blackened wood, is finely inlaid with ivory in foliage motifs and richly set with hard and semi-precious stones in cabochons or medallions (bloodstone, carnelian, agates, malachite).

Other iconic 20th-century artists will be represented, notably Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, Yayoi Kusama, Roy Lichtenstein, as well as an original painting by the Icelandic artist Erró.

Finally, a refined selection of high-end jewellery by leading designers will round off this auction, including a remarkable Patek Philippe Steel ‘Aquanaut’ in lot 322.
