Following the sale of 150 exceptional watches in June 2024 and 202 watches in March 2025, the Asset Management Office is offering 180 exceptional watches for sale at a public auction to be held on March 21 at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains.
Got some money to spare? Why not invest it in an exceptional watch, especially one that has been confiscated by the Assets Management Office (BGA)? As the state's agent for the management and sale of seized and confiscated property, the BGA is organizing the final event in its series of auctions of exceptional watches confiscated in connection with money laundering cases.
Following the sale of 150 exceptional watches in June 2024 and 202 watches in March 2025, the BGA will this time be offering 180 exceptional watches for sale at a public auction to be held on Saturday, March 21, at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains.
Estimates of up to €60,000
Those wishing to participate in the sale in person are invited to register in advance via the website lux-auction.com. The sale will also be accessible online or by telephone, subject to prior registration. Among the watches up for auction is an A. Lange & Söhne Datograph Flyback for men in 18-carat rose gold, a chronograph with a white dial, baton hour markers, and Roman numerals, estimated to fetch between €10,000 and €20,000, and the Concord C1 Tourbillon Gravity, a limited edition men's watch in 18-carat white gold with a purchase price of €370,000 and an estimated sale price of between €30,000 and €60,000.
All proceeds will be donated to the Fund for the Fight Against Certain Forms of Crime, in accordance with government policy based on the principle that “crime does not pay.”
