Suite a Succession, plus de 300 Oeuvres d'Art perchées sur 200m2, au septième & dernier étage, Boulevard de la Pétrusse à Luxembourg !

200m2 perched on the top floor of Boulevard de la Pétrusse in Luxembourg, this Succession d'un grand architecte Luxembourgeois Mr K will present an unprecedented international collection of contemporary and modern post-war paintings, as well as fine furniture by the greatest designers of the 20th century.
Numerous international artists from over 10 different countries will be represented.

Let's start with Luxembourg artists: Robert Brandy, Patricia Lippert, André Haagen, Mars Scmit, a mixed technique on canvas depicting the portrait of “Xavier Bettel” by Rafael Springer, several rare works by François Gillen and a unique work by Sumo.

Continuing with international artists: several lithographs by Miro, Dali, Folon, Hartung, three paintings by the Icelandic artist named Erró, a set of six photographs by SCHEIDEGGER Errnst (1923-2016) for Alberto Giacometti (1901-1966) in his studio for the Fondation Beyeler and a 1989 match compression portrait on panel by César Baldaccini, known as César.

A fine set of architect's furniture by Pierre Jeanneret, made in Chandigarh, India, in 1955. A powerful and majestic sculpture by Jürgen Lingl-Rebetez of a Lion bust in carved wood on its signed saddle.
Just over 40 works by New York artist James Rizzi, for whom the architect had a great passion in the 1990s during his many trips to New York.

On the street art side, many iconic works by famous artists : Banksy, Combas, Basquiat, Mr. Brainwash, a fine original silkscreen by Keith Haring called “Pop Shop II”, Andy Warhol with Superman or a large original silkscreen: “A bright night” by Roy Lichtenstein, all bought in the 1990s from a New York gallery.

On the street art side, many iconic works by famous artists: Banksy, Combas, Basquiat, Mr. Brainwash, a fine original silkscreen by Keith Haring called “Pop Shop II”, Andy Warhol with Superman or a large original silkscreen: “A bright night” by Roy Lichtenstein, all bought in the 1990s from a New York gallery.

We'll close with his passion for Marilyn Monroe, presenting over 16 portraits of the iconic Los Angeles actress.

The presentation of the works of Art will take place in the exclusive setting of our auction house on 400M2 in Stadtbredimus from May 13 - 16, 2025. This presentation is strictly private and access is reserved exclusively for those who have made an appointment in advance on the sales website, www.lux-auction.com.
