17th century marquetry cabinet - Eastern France
Fir and walnut veneer frame, opening with two front panels revealing 2 storage units, 4 small drawers on each side and a central drawer. Flat sides with inlaid geometric decoration. Projecting cornice. It stands on 4 twisted legs linked by a curved crotch shelf, and opens with two drawers in the waistband. Very fine original ironwork (locks).
